AutoLaser UM is PC‑based CAM control software matching TL‑series laser controller boards (TL‑403C/404CA/410C, TL‑A3/A4 etc.) for CO₂ laser cutting & engraving machines, running on Windows 10 (32‑bit / 64‑bit). It supports graphic editing, parameter configuration, dual‑head inter‑moving processing, CCD‑Mark point cutting, projector preview, USB / Ethernet communication, and plugin integration for mainstream design software。
1. Installation & Design‑Software Plugins
- Main program installation: Install core program, USB driver and VC++ runtime libraries; customize installation path.
- Optional plugins to import graphics directly from design software:
- CorelDRAW: Support V12‑2020, install CorelLaser plugin.
- AutoCAD: Support 2004‑2015, install CADLaser plugin.
- Adobe Illustrator: Support CS2‑2017, install AILaser plugin.
- Inkscape 1.0+: Install extension plugin, run Inkscape as administrator.
Note: For repeated import, close AutoLaser first except for CorelDRAW plugin.
2. Device & Communication Setup
- Communication modes: USB serial COM port or Ethernet LAN. For network connection, PC and controller must stay within same IP network segment.
- Device management: Add/edit/delete machine profiles; configure working area size, machine origin, laser‑head position, positioning mode.
- Three major parameter groups (password‑protected for factory parameters):
- Process parameters: Engraving backlash compensation, small‑circle speed limit, cutting gap compensation; support import / export parameter files.
- Axis parameters: Resolution, polarity, max travel, speed, acceleration, jerk, home‑on‑power‑on setting for X/Y/Z/U multi‑axes.
- Equipment parameters: Laser‑head mode (single‑head, smart dual‑moving‑head, multi‑head), laser type (glass CO₂ / RF laser), PWM settings, auto‑focus, dual‑platform, roller rotary mode, I/O trigger (water‑protection, cover‑open protection, feed‑out signal, lubrication output).
- Firmware upgrade: Upload
.TFL firmware file; read runtime statistics: power‑on hours, laser firing time, total processing cycles, axis travel distance.
3. Graphic‑Editing Core Functions
- Basic drawing: Line, polyline, rectangle, circle, text, points; node editing (set start‑point, split, delete nodes, convert polyline to Bézier curve).
- Graphic pre‑processing tools: Rotate/move, multi‑segment merge, adjacent merge, delete overlapping lines; add lead‑in / lead‑out lines, micro‑joints (tab); reverse cutting direction; offset contour (inset / outset); curve smoothing for low‑quality imported PLT/DST files.
- Special tools: Fillet corner, bridge tab, dog‑bone tab, set parking stop‑point, extract outline from bitmap.
- Bitmap processing: Brightness / contrast adjustment, invert color, halftone dot pattern, resolution conversion for photo engraving.
- Object operation: Change processing sequence, show jump‑travel path, graphic alignment & distribution.
4. Processing Output & Practical Application Cases
‑ Layer management: Assign independent speed, laser power and fan state for each color‑coded layer.
‑ Pre‑process: Path optimization, simulation preview, estimate machining time.
‑ Manual control panel: Jog axes, pulse laser test, frame preview.
‑ Typical application scenarios: Curve smoothing, dual‑moving‑head cutting, auto‑feeding processing, large‑file split‑job, rotary engraving, image contour extraction.
‑ Advanced functions: Projector projection preview, Mark‑point visual cutting with calibration for printed‑material contour cutting.
‑ Offline controller panel operation supported for TL series hardware.
